Meet The Team
Rosie
Rosie formed Sparkle & Shine in 2014, when her children were very small. The business very quickly grew, she now looks after around 60 clients in the Christchurch area.
Rosie's background is managing Premier Inns and Beefeaters, and brings her wealth of experience and training to ensure a high standard of cleaning is delivered by her team.
Rosie lives in Christchurch with her two children, dog, and 2 cats. She enjoys playing in a brass band in her spare time, as well as walking, eating out, and going on holiday.
Melanie
Melanie lives in Burton, and has previously worked as a private cleaner, and more recently in a care home for many years, eventually training in dementia care.
She enjoys seeing her four grandchildren and pottering in the garden.
Melanie has been part of the Sparkle & Shine team since 2021.
Isobel
Izzy has been part of the Sparkle & Shine team since 2021.
She lives in Mudeford with her son and dogs. She has an interest in tropical plants and enjoys days out at botanical gardens, and grows unusual plants at home. She has over 12 years experience working as a cleaner in hotels, hospitals and private homes.
Izzy loves cleaning, partly for the great satisfaction of leaving a home sparkling, but much more importantly for her is the relationship she gets to build with the wonderful clients, and hearing how happy they are with her work means the world to her.
Zoe
Zoe lives in Barton on Sea with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, cycling and kayaking. She also loves going on holiday, both in the UK and abroad.
Sophie
Sophie lives in West Parley with her husband and her son.
She has plenty of cleaning experience, including looking after office and welfare areas on a building site, end of tenancy cleaning and private home cleaning. She also does dog sitting, and is a mobile hairdresser too!
In her spare time she likes the beach (all year round), and loves going to the cinema.
Sophie feels that there is nothing more satisfying than making homes clean and tidy, and meeting new people along the way.
Sophie
Sophie lives in Southbourne with her partner and dog. She loves going on beach and forest walks when the weather allows, as well as travelling.
Sophie also has a furniture upcycling business, and regularly attends auctions at the weekends.
Chloe
Chloe joined us in 2025, and lives in Moordown with her son and cat. She is training to become a counsellor alongside her cleaning work. Her experience is mainly in end of tenancy cleaning. Chloe has a degree in performing arts, is a member of SingPeopleSing choir, and is working towards her grade 5 singing exam.
Sandra
Sandra started with Sparkle and Shine in July 2024.
She lives in Christchurch with her boyfriend and Border Collie, who she enjoys taking to agility and teaching new tricks. In her spare time, she can be found taking long walks in the New Forest, as well as taking holidays where she can observe wildlife, both in the UK and abroad.
Elena
Elena has been with us since 2016, and is our longest serving team member. She lives in Christchurch with her two children.
